Simplifying the engage quote process

You may notice a survey appear within Engage at the end of your quote experience, we'd be really grateful if you could give us some feedback on the changes we've made so we can continually improve.

Here’s a summary of the changes……

Leased Lines - end of sale: this is a legacy service that we’ll soon be withdrawing from sale. Therefore, we’ve removed it as a quotable service from Engage.

Cease notification: once you submit a cease request you will now receive an email notification acknowledging your request.

Quote menu: we’ve made this clearer for you and simplified the options that appear within the drop down menu shown on screen. “Site to Site” and “Site to Multisite” have been consolidated into one and re-named “Point to Point Ethernet”. We’ve also removed the ‘Standard Quote’ option from the menu and made it easier to select frequently used configurations in the Point to Point Ethernet quote journey.

Reducing the number of clicks: there’s nothing more annoying than having to click a trillion times before you get to where you need to be! Therefore we’ve pre-selected the most frequently used options in our drop down menus to save you time and effort. We’ve also put labels in place of clickable menus where only one choice of <XX> is available, resulting in fewer clicks for you.

Site selection: previously, the first screen within the Quote section of Engage contained a mix of search and filter boxes, making it confusing and time consuming to find sites. Your POI (Point of Interconnect) sites will be automatically displayed, as well as any generic Telehotel sites that may be relevant for your organisation. There's no more "Create New" site - simply search for the site using the full postcode and we'll do the rest!

Serviceability results: product options available at individual sites will be more clearly presented, enabling you to make a more informed choice.

Consolidation of ‘Site to Site’ and’ Site to Multi Site’: once the upgrade has taken place, you’ll find these options within the same menu, rather than as separate line items. We’ve created some new logic within Engage, enabling it to make this decision for you (site to site or site to multi site) based on the number of sites you select. So all you need to do is simply select your sites and we’ll do the rest!

Auto population of Quote name: this is only a small change but small things can make a difference. Moving forwards, we’ll auto-populate the quote name for you, meaning that you won’t have to!

Default configurations: we’re making it easier for you to configure both your A and B End sites on the same screen. Engage will now include the most frequently used configurations – all you need to do is select them from the menu, saving you time and the effort of having to enter the information from scratch each time. You’ll also be able to generate custom configurations too.
